Cable Harness with Locking Clips

1. Unlock the cable by pushing upwards at the positions indicated by the arrows on both sides.
2. Raise approximately 1mm on both sides (as shown in the white plastic casing).
3. Use a disassembly tool to push up the secondary hole, flatten the barb, and then pull out the cable!

Common Wire Harness Removal Instructions

1. Use a small 0.8mm tool to remove the terminal wire with secondary holes (Nissan, Toyota, Hyundai 24P/44P, Honda 24P, signal wire).

2. Push the barbs at both ends of the terminal flat to remove the terminal wire with barbed metal ends (Volkswagen, domestic brands, engine wires, Hyundai, Kia). The terminal opening is relatively large. [Images of the left and right secondary holes on the metal head are included.]

3. Use a large 1.5mm tool to remove the terminal wire (yellow/black wire, Honda wire). This connector has a characteristic: the terminal holes are relatively large. The plastic head has barbs (mostly Japanese and domestic cars – such as Toyota power cables, Nissan power cables are included).

There are two main types of barbs:

A. Barbs on the housing As shown in the picture:

Usage: Use a 1.0/1.3/1.5 terminal removal tool to pry open the barb inside the housing and simultaneously pull out the terminal wire with appropriate force.

1.) Removal tool usage position and direction
2.) Use the removal tool to push forward forcefully to unlock the barb from the terminal.
3.) Pull the terminal wire.

B. The hook is attached to the terminal. As shown in the picture.

Instructions for use: Use the optional 0.8/1.0 terminal removal tool to locate the secondary hole. Use a horizontal tool to flatten the terminal and gently pull the terminal wire.

2.) Use the disassembly tool to push forward forcefully to unlock the barb from the terminal
3.) Pull the terminal wire.

C.  There is another type, without a secondary hole and without barbs on the housing. 

The barbs are located at the terminal; the terminal wire needs to be pulled out by reaching deep into the barb inside the flat terminal.
